Why is Tulum the best place for a destination wedding?
Tulum is a Mexico’s wonder. This beautiful and rustic town has managed to escape the great tourist and urban development’s until now, and remains being an intimate destination for magical events, relax and adventure.
Why do I need to consult a Wedding Coordinator?
It is very important that you know the most of the hotels in Tulum don’t have a weddings department , they don’t have neither staff trained on the events area. So the hotel managers prefer to work with an external wedding planner.
Each couple have different needs, our job is to help them to get the best and fulfill what you’ve dreamed for that big day.
How long before the wedding day is it advisable to arrive to Tulum?
For Mayan, Spiritual or Religious wedding we recommend 3 days prior of your wedding, so we can point out the last details and you can relax and be fresh for the big day .
For a Civil Ceremony you need to be here at least 4 working days prior of your wedding in order to make the blood tests and some paperwork.
How much in advance do we need to book the wedding ?
For a medium wedding group (30 to 70 guests), the wedding is usually planned 8 months in advance in order to ensure the locations of your choice and the availability of the best vendors/suppliers.
For big weddings groups of up to 80 guests, plan & book 10 – 12 months in advance.
For weddings on holydays or important days, plan and book as soon as possible.
Are you able to coordinate Spontaneous Weddings?
We can of course arrange a spontaneous/last minute weddings if we are available on the day you chose. However, is important that to know that the vendors are subject to availability and the wedding services price can have changes.
It is possible to have my wedding Ceremony at the Tulum Ruins?
The Tulum Authorities do not allow any kind of event, neither a wedding nor a photo shooting on the ruins.
What is the best time of the year to come to Tulum?
Tulum is always warm and beautiful. The clima is semitropical with an average annual temperature of 26°C to 35°C ( 78°F to 95°). Fresh months are from November to February. July, August and September are the warmest months.
What happens if it rains on my wedding day?
If you will have your ceremony on the beach, plan to have the reception on a covered place, so in the rare event of bad weather we can move the ceremony to the reception place. But, if you are planning to have your reception on the beach is recommendable to rent a tent.
If I plan to have my wedding in a different location from any other that you recommended, are you able to plan my wedding?
Sure, we will be happy and open to work in a new location. Our logistics plan will be adapted to your needs and wishes.
What happens after we book our wedding location?
After reserving the wedding location, the next step is reserve your wedding Ceremony date ( with Pastor,Judge or Shaman). And then select your menu, drinks options, and book the rest of the vendors such as photographer, videographer, flowers, music, etc.
Can we have our Wedding Ceremony custom-made ?
Yes, either if you are having a Spiritual/Mayan, Religious or Civil Ceremony, you are able to add your personal vows, readings, and interchange your rings.
How long is the ceremony?
The Civil Ceremony takes around 15 minutes and the Mayan/Spiritual Wedding takes 45 minutes, but the real last of your ceremony will depends on whether you book a musician, have family members or friends taking part in the ceremony, interchange of rings and your own vows etc.
